Financial Workshops

In partnership with Financial Beginnings, we are excited to offer free, online personal finance workshops to empower you to make informed financial decisions.

Workshops are taught live by trained professionals, so you can ask your pressing finance questions. Recordings will also be made available, so you can learn at any time at your own pace.

Can I participate anonymously?

We require a name and email to register for our workshops so we can effectively share details and updates. You’re welcome to use a pseudonym when providing your name.

Additionally, workshops are held on Zoom, where you can protect your identity by following these privacy recommendations.

Who teaches the workshops?

Our workshops are led by trained volunteers from Financial Beginnings, including professionals from the finance and banking industries. A FinAbility staff member also attends each session to address survivor-specific questions and foster a supportive, healing environment

How long are workshops?

Workshops are typically 90 minutes long.

What if I miss a workshop I registered for?

No worries! We offer special recorded versions of our workshops, and you can also sign up for future sessions. We understand that things can change quickly, so even if you miss a live session, you’ll still have access to the workshop.

How do FinAbility and Financial Beginnings provide workshops at no cost?

Financial Beginnings and FinAbility are 501(c)(3) nonprofits funded through grants, corporate sponsors, and individual donors.
